Questions:
Is it possible/recommended to use linux mint for audio-/musicproduction? Or should I start (as a linux #newbie) with a special linux for audio-/musicproduction (which one?)? And will this have office, mail, browser, gimp too?

I will install & use linux for the 1st time in my life (on a new second hd on Thinkpad P70).
1) office...
Am using windows atm with libre office, thunderbird, firefox, gimp. After some online research I guess #LinuxMint ist best for me (easy change/usage). Maybe #Ubuntu, #debian may be to difficult for me.?
2) audio-/musicproduction
Am using windows with ableton (midi+audio, lot of warp) and #rme #fireface 400 (will maybe buy new, guess fireface ucx ii). After some online research I found linux distros made for audio-/musicproduction like #ubuntustudio @ubuntustudio , #kxstudio, #archlinux, #fedorajam a.s.o.
As #ableton is not available on #linux i willhave to learn a new #daw.
