  3. Whistler's "The Storm" masterfully captures the tension of a solitary figure against nature's fury. The ethereal lines convey struggle and resilience in a turbulent landscape. How does this artwork resonate with your own experiences in challenging times?

  5. Witness the power of nature and human perseverance captured in Whistler's "The Storm." The dynamic lines evoke a tempestuous battle, merging artistry with raw emotion. How does this piece reflect the struggle between man and nature in your view?

  6. #GoodMorning Mastheads. Not that bad of a day so far, I’ve actually been kind of productive. But I’m also very aware now that, one week from today, we’ll be less than 30 minutes from the blackness descending. A perverse part of me wonders if we’ll start hearing about #TheStorm again. We already know the whole dictator on day one thing. Thanks in advance for being there, #Mastodon family. We’re really going to need each other.

  7. I almost passed over this article because it was another “we must have community moving forward ... etc. etc.” So many of these blogs are out and most are so vague as to not be helpful but this one is excellent. She actually goes there with being intolerant of true red flags to keep the community groups healthy and moving forward. She also points out that by letting humans be human, you stand a chance at learning to cooperate with people you may not personally like. Understand the difference between someone you don’t like and someone who is actually a threat. Those are not the same thing. Some really relevant points to consider and solid advice. Now this is specific to the pagan community but it works for other kinds of community work in mutual aid, disaster prep, etc. “Guidelines for Community Engagement” by Irene Glasse.

  8. I'm sure I can think of a few #Weather theme tracks for this week's #JukeboxFridayNight but I'm going to start with The Storm by Front Line Assembly which other than the title isn't really weather-related at all. But it is a tune I adore putting on at full volume and losing myself in.

  9. The Storm captures the raw struggle against nature, with a bent figure bravely facing violent winds and rain. Ridley's dynamic lines vividly evoke resilience. How do you interpret the battle within this atmospheric landscape?

  10. If I built a website that lets you register for the #CivilWar with your address and which side you'd be on I bet I could get a lot of seditionists on #TruthSocial to dox themselves.

  11. I'm getting a lot of comfort from #poetry – apparently I've collected a lot over the years! - & right now, w everything so uncertain, I'm holding on to this from #Scottish #poet Kathleen Jamie's #TheStorm:

"Be brave: by the weird-song in the dark you'll find your way."

Originally I only had this excerpt; I didn't know the context, who #KathleenJamie was, or anything else – but it was one of those #ThingsIKnowToBeTrue the moment I read it.

Be brave, lovely peeps. Keep going. 💪
