I'm getting a lot of comfort from #poetry – apparently I've collected a lot over the years! - & right now, w everything so uncertain, I'm holding on to this from #Scottish #poet Kathleen Jamie's #TheStorm:
"Be brave: by the weird-song in the dark you'll find your way."
Originally I only had this excerpt; I didn't know the context, who #KathleenJamie was, or anything else – but it was one of those #ThingsIKnowToBeTrue the moment I read it.
Be brave, lovely peeps. Keep going. 💪
Good morning!
I find as the world roils around us, core beliefs and comforts stay the same, just sometimes they are harder to hear, to find, and to hold on to.
I will be away for the next little while, to be present as Summer wanes and Autumn waxes, listening for my weird-song, and finding my way.
Back soon. In the meantime, be encouraged, be brave, and #KeepGoing 💪
