A lot of this walk is alongside old sea cliffs and features of raised beaches. In places the path is below the cliffs, at others it is above.
First part of the walk is over yellow and red sandstones (possibly old red sandstone) then carboniferous volcanics nearer to St Andrews.

Kayaking Adventures in Dingle Harbour

A lonely, misty stretch of northern California coast, March 1984.

The spring following my Appalachian Trail hike, I took a long bus ride to Seattle, where I rented an economy car and drove down the Pacific Coast Highway and sometimes even smaller coastal roads to San Francisco.

It became rather stormy during the northern California stretch of my Pacific Coast Highway drive but it was still beautiful, and there were a few breaks in the storm where I could pull out my extremely non-water-resistant late 70s era budget SLR.
