We finally had some time today to focus on some home finishes.
Made a cozy, hygge, breakfast nook with my travel spoon collection, and some artwork by my grandma, Seattle artist Gerda Overaa.
As a young man, it was not unusual to see her paintings, coffee mugs, sketches, etc. in the homes of new friends. She was pretty well known at the time.
On the right is my very first cat, “Li’l Tyke”, or Tyke for short. -
This moment is what exists. Life is short. Be here now. Let the joy, wonder, and love shower out of you before we are gone forever.

Snow that sticks around more than a few hours is rare here on the #OregonCoast, but based on the forecast, I may be stuck on my hilltop for several days at least, maybe till next week.
