We finally had some time today to focus on some home finishes.
Made a cozy, hygge, breakfast nook with my travel spoon collection, and some artwork by my grandma, Seattle artist Gerda Overaa.
As a young man, it was not unusual to see her paintings, coffee mugs, sketches, etc. in the homes of new friends. She was pretty well known at the time.
On the right is my very first cat, “Li’l Tyke”, or Tyke for short. -
"Go somewhere warm", we're told to live...as someone suffering through the heat of a chapparal sun as I type this, I know better. You won't experience mood like this anywhere where palm trees sway in the sultry breeze; only in the greatness that is The North.

Life on the #OregonCoast is usually cooler than the inland areas, but this is even cooler than usual.
Been sunny and low 60s the last few weeks.
My sympathies for those suffering from heat and humidity this week

Went for my first real ride of the year
Several miles down the south beach road out to a park in a nice cove
I needed some groceries so after hanging out at the beach I stopped at the village market out there for supplies
Used all three luggage boxes and had room to spare!
My long goat beard blows into a fork in the wind!
I need someone to video me riding by so I can see it flying in the breeze!
