Lover at dette er siste gnålingen fra meg om nye vifter i PC'en min, men jeg testet nå med #Screamer, kanskje det mest maskinvare-krevende spillet jeg har akkurat nå hvor GPU'en stort sett er på 90% GPU og 95% minneforbruk konstant.
Veldig fornøyd med temperaturen! OK, de nye viftene som blåser luft inn går konstant på litt under 50% fart og støyer litt, men de andre viftene går aldri amok for å få varm luft ut slik de har pleid å gjøre, så resultatet er en gaming-PC som støyer litt mer enn før når jeg ikke gamer, men som støyer vesentlig mindre enn før når jeg gamer, og som ikke overoppheter av lengre spilleøkter.

Disse "reverse" viftene blåser virkelig MYE luft inn i kabinettet, selv på ganske lave hastigheter. Jeg stolte dog på AI'en for å fortelle meg hvilken vei de skulle stå, og det var selvfølgelig feil, så måtte montere dem av og på igjen.
Så kan denne Noctua viftekontrolleren håndtere tre vifter, så jeg tenker at jeg når jeg får tid skal eksperimentere litt med å koble den øverste viften på viftekontrolleren og da la viftekontrolleren få sys_fan2 porten som den idag bruker på hovedkortet og se om jeg kan få litt bedre viftekontroll.

So, #Screamer have a VRAM memory bug for Nvidia GPU's that makes it crash after a few seconds of racing.
I managed to get it running by using the following startup command in #Steam while also using the Proton-CachyOS Latest:
__GL_ExperimentalPerfStrategy=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
The game does require quite a lot of resources though, it's god my computer running quite hot...
But it's a f**king great racer-game 💙

#Screamer is 50% off on #Steam :steam: currently, so I had to purchase it.
This game is awesome! I did try the demo a few months ago, and it stuttered quite a bit, but now it runs butter smooth on my #LegionGoS. I guess they have squashed a few bugs.
I did have to disable mouse usage for the right stick to get it working in the game though, so spent a few minutes struggling with that.
You can also up the default graphics settings a bit for the Legion Go S if you have the Z1 Extreme version 😎

Esta mañana he probado el #screamer
4k en épico. Vaya salvajada y q divertido lo del derrape con el stick derecho (te has de acostumbrar, rollo los antiguos juegos de deportes extremos q era fácil de jugar xo difícil de dominar 😜).Lo q más me ha sorprendido es la ALUCINANTE respuesta de los gatillos (miles de memes se me ocurren 😅) con resistencia y vibración (y creo q hasta sonido 🤯) en el #DualSense
Es el primer juego q noto q le saco partido al mando y sus características en #Steam 👌

Is it another racing game to through into the racing bin, or something to really rival the peak of the NFS series?
Screamer is currently rated at 80%, so there may be fun but does not seems as a game with critical acclaim. Nothing that dethrones Most Wanted, still, it seems.

Przed premierą #Screamer ogrywałem chociażby starsze odsłony Ridge Racer, gdyż się nastawiałem na 100% arcade'ową ścigałkę, gdzie drift będzie miał znaczenie. And boy, nie byłem na to gotowy.
Zdecydowanie najciekawszym niuansem gry jest sterowanie autem z pomocą dwóch gałek - lewa gałka odpowiada za skręt, zaś prawa wprowadza samochód w drift. Dotychczas najbardziej zbliżony system oferowało niezależne Inertial Drift. Choć na tym niuanse się nie kończą.
Poza tym, gra ma też mechaniki związane z boostowaniem czy otwartą walką z przecinikami. I łącząc to w całość, mamy do czynienia z chyba najoryginalniejszą ścigałką od lat (choć nie ukrywajmy - przez zejście gatunku do niszy i ciśnięcie non-stop motywu festiwalowej ścigałki, poprzeczka jest wybitnie nisko zawieszona), z dość wymagającym, ale całkiem satysfakcjonującym sterowaniem. Momentami przypomina mi gry z epoki PS2/PS3 i to jest bardzo dobre!
