So far, everything I've attempted to use a #Quartz64 for is a fail.
FreePBX ran, but won't make calls.
Home Assistant, HAOS, doesn't boot the SD to install.
Searching the web for it is leading me to... nothing.

Frustrating.

Anyone knows why ARM boards don't use simple things like Open Firmware (https://www.openfirmware.org/Open_Firmware.html) instead of the mess they use to boot?

Dites les toulousains, j'ai un #quartz64 à la maison et je n'arrive pas à installer d'OS dessus, le port console n'a pas l'air de fonctionner, mais je suis un vrai #noob là-dedans. Je cherche une install party ou quelqu'un qui aurait de l'expérience et qui pourrait m'aider à boostraper la chose.

le repouet aide calme l'esprit.

Here's something I've done today, ported EDK2 to @PINE64 #PineTab2.

Thanks jmcwhatever (can't find their Mastodon tag) for doing most of the work on #Quartz64.

It's still very unstable though, as 90% of the time it will not get past the loading prompt and freezes. I guess memory allocation issue?

m.2 slots would be nice but I think someone needs to make a cm4 board to cover this idea
but the pine #Quartz64 model a has a pci slot which you could easily find a 4 port sata card to work with.

You can buy 2 #quartz64 boards that are more powerful and versatile than the competing Raspberry Pi.
