En toen was ik met #dietpi bezig :-) De adsb install op de raspi 3 gaf weer kuren .. dus opzoek naar microSD kaartje en er zelfs een gevonden en een sd kaart ,.. he die kan in een raspi 1 die ik ook nog had ... Oftewel raspi3 adsb doet het weer ennnnn de raspi 1 is ook aan het pruttelen...
lekker prutsen ... oh er komt ook nog een Orange Pi Zero aan om meer te proberen ..

Ich habe #dietpi , #cloudron , #yunohost und die #freedombox getestet. Zuletzt dann #umbrel, weil es gute Kritiken hatte.
Um also Deine Frage zu beantworten, ja es taugt etwas. Super einfache Installation und minimaler administrativer Aufwand. -

No way! RPi Zero W (the 32 bit one?)This is beyond fantastic! I really wanted something small and capable of using old/spare hardware. Currently, I have an old OnePlus5T running #GoToSocial (Postgres + Split domain) on #postmarketos
I feel modern software development neglects / underestimates older hardware. I mean even #pihole with a large blocklist running on #DietPi makes the RPi0 sluggish.
If LittleFedi can work on #postmarketos , a LOT of phone hardware can be revalorised!

Because of the #copyfail cve, I booted up my MacBook Air running Linux Mint to get the patches.
I took the chance to upgrade from Mint 21.3 to 22.3 too. I absolutely love how Mint has given so much extra life to the 2012 MBA.
On my Pi though, DietPi is not patched yet, but I think it's waiting for Raspberry Pi's kernel or something. I don't really understand how or which party patches what!

Dietpi hasn't released the patched kernel yet Debian 1:6.12.85. It's still stuck on the vulnerable 1:6.12.75 version. :(

Enjoyed spending an hour or two over the past few evenings configuring my #RaspberryPi3B+ as a Pi-hole server for my network.
What a lot of fun using well designed software - #DietPi and #PiHole
Learnt loads on the journey configuring everything:
- DietPi
- Pi-hole
- ufw
- fail2banCompleted the build when I got the USB backup going via a cron job - very easy with DietPi.
Now deployed - Updated my DHCP server to deliver my Pi-hole server!
DietPi and Pi-hole are a perfect combo on a Pi!
