Diese Frage stellt sich mir so nicht.
Ich bin seit 2008, oft mit eigenen Instanzen, im #Fediverse.
Zuerst auf #Identica, #Pumpio, #StatusNet und #GnuSocial, bis heute mit #Mastodon und #Diaspora.
Auch bei #Misskey, #Pleroma, #GoToSocial, #Friendica, #Hubzilla. #WriteFreely und #Pixelfed hatte ich Abstecher gemacht und diese Systeme getestet. Schlussendlich bin ich eben bei Mastodon und Diaspora hängengeblieben.
Da beutetet aber nicht, dass ich nicht weiterhin die Augen aufhalten und andere Projekte ausprobieren werde, und wer weiß, vielleicht ist irgendwann ja doch ein Wechsel für mich fällig. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Morgen vor 16 Jahren wurde der erste Beitrag auf #denti.ca gepostet. Das ist ein wenig wie die Mondlandung von 1969. Im Unterschied dazu haben die meisten Menschen den Post nicht mitbekommen ;).

@verrukkelijke15 #mastodon server is zo ongeveer de enige die ik (nog) niet draai. #statusnet, #gnusocial, #pumpio en #gotosocial servers zijn allemaal actief (geweest).

Lo reconozco, tengo cuentas en la mayoria de las plataformas de este universo digital: #Funkwhale, #Mastodon, #Friendica, #GNUSocial, #Pumpio, #Pleroma, #Misskey, etc
Es genial la diversidad, #libertad y todo eso
Lo que me ha incomodado y provocado problemas a la hora de interactuar con todo el fediverso es lo acotado que puede llegar a ser este
En una instancia tengo la sensacion que puedo recibir mas mensajes (linea temporal publica) que en otras
La explicación detras es que mientras no se construyan puentes entre las instancias (añadir contactos) no tenemos posibilidad de "descubrir" a nadie mas
Esta caracteristica es una enorme limitante para los nuevos usuarios si tomamos en cuenta, que entonces la busqueda debe ser activa reduciendo enormemente las posibilidades de "conocer a otros" si no se tienen "conocimientos previos" de estas limitantes ¿se entiende esta cuestion?
Por el lado de los admins se entiende de sobra que no esten a favor de ampliar infinitamente la "linea de tiempo publica" para mantener al minimo posible el trafico de la instancia, pero a la vez esto ha creado un enorme CEMENTERIO de cuentas de UN SOLO MENSAJE
O sea, en mi navegacion diaria, me topo al menos con no menos de 20 a 30 cuentas abandonadas despues del primer mensaje -
Just tried out the AndStatus app on Android. I successfully added accounts for pump.io and Titter, but adding this Mastodon account failed. I tried adding a Friendica account as a GNU social account, since it supports OStatus and I can't see any other way to do it, but that failed. I don't think I have a GNU social account since the Quitter. sites went down, but I'll have to check and maybe set up a new one for testing purposes.

@BalooUriza Implementing Server to Client API (e.g. to #AndStatus) #Mastodon, like #GnuSocial, chose to have local IDs for notes (posts) and even for Users (!) - IDs that are valid for one server only. This is why, even when you see posts, downloaded from one server, you cannot interact with them using an account of another server.
This is not a case for #ActivityPub Client-to-Server API, and for #Pumpio - there you can interact across the whole federated network. -

Despite #pumpIO appearing to be alive, it looks like nothing has been committed to the #ActivityPub development branch for about a year:
