Okay need a bit fedipower especially from those who use GoToSocial: is there any script / project which can find dead profiles you follow?
I mean in Mastodon i remeber there were a page where you could see ho you are following and when they have posted the last time.

I didnt find anythin similiar in phanpy or elk (or i am blind)

Do you know something similiar? I mean not only for removing dead profiles but sometime you dont realize that somebody moved to a new profile and so you could also check that more easy manually.

I could swear that somewhere along the way, #GoToSocial is either converting the images to a GIF, or dithering them to 256 colors, then scaling them down (maybe), then converting them to #WebP.

It has obvious signs of Floyd-Steinberg dithering, yet when I convert the webp to a GIF, imagemagick says that it's 256 colors. So it's either dithered before scaling, or the dithering (and color reduction) is munged by the lossy compression. I think it's the former, though.

Very interesting.

Caddy as webserver (with HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3), this GoToSocial instance, VaultWarden, Stalwart for mail, calendar and contacts and now eJabberd for instant messaging. GoToSocial, Stalwart and eJabberd all are tied into Postgresql for their databases. All nicely running on a Hetzner CCX13 instance with room to spare.
