Found out #PostyBirb really trivially supports posting to Ko-fi and Telegram channels and some peeps chimed in to say they like browsing art on those so I added those to my list of art crossposting :)
From now on I'll try to post art exclusively through PostyBirb instead of Masto first then everywhere else when I'm less lazy

TIL that Postybirb, the tool that is used to post in multiple websites at once, including Mastodon, Bluesky and Twitter:
- is furry all around
- is made by one furson
- is open source
- supports Furaffinity, SoFurry, Ink Bunny, Weasyl, e621, Patreon, Tumblr, Pixelfed, Telegram, Discord
- has a good looking lightweight website
- is being rewritten with new features like CW support
Such a cool thing deserves contributions and donations.

Furry artists, do you have a method for mass-updating next/prev links on comic series posts that you upload to multiple websites?
I want to check in before I do something rash and program a bunch of features into my local branch of Postybirb, because if there's a method I don't know about, I could save myself a lot of time.

- DeviantArt stability fixes
- Make content warnings part of the default section

* Picarto resize limit tweaked.
* Multi-file support for Itaku.
* DeviantArt no longer using OAuth and should now support indication options and hopefully fixed descriptions. This may be a bit buggy.
* DeviantArt now posts notifications as Journal instead of Status.

Okay, it is a fucking mess and literally could not pawsibly be merged in its current form (and can't even be pushed to the remote repo yet), but I have working support in Postybirb-plus for site-specific tag groups.

Itaku's needs some work to properly support parent-child tag relationships. I've sent a message to the Postybirb dev to see if it's something they'd be interested in merging if I cleaned it up.

When I post sketches, it usually means I'm hacking around on PostyBirb. (Unf|F)ortunately, my code worked on the first go, so I only got one out.

Anyone got any experience using #PostyBirb ? So far it's the only way I can see of scheduling posts over at FA.
If I set up the posts on something, does the application have to be open for the scheduled post to go, or is it saved on a server somewhere to get fired off when the job kicks in?

Dear new #artists, welcome! Maybe you haven't been told yet, but your posts will be way more widely shared and reach a much larger audience if you add #alttext to your #art to include the visual impaired. This is not mandatory, but people will appreciate your efforts. :blobfoxsnuggle:
The alternate text doesn't have to be overly descriptive and complex, just enough for people to know what others are talking about. For #furryartists out there, #postybirb has the alt text feature.

like, i get more engagement on my art on e621 than i do on cohost. lmao.
and i'm not trying to say this is a numbers game or anything? but like, posting on cohost is *effort*. there's no api and i have to manually post it on the site itself because #postybirb doesn't support it. which makes me want to post on there lesss and lessssss.

I can use #postybirb to post my #FurryArt on my #Pixelfed gallery with keywords and #alttext, at the same time as regular websites such as #furaffinity. I can repost the pics from my Pixelfed gallery on my Calckey account for everyone to see, both on Calckey and #Mastodon, without any voodoo manipulation, it's just a click away.
Damn, technology can be good, and I'm really thankful to the devs for sharing this kind of tools for free.

Does #PostyBirb handle writing well? I want to start cross posting to SoFurry, FurAffinity, Weasyl, and possibly others depending on content, but every site handles written works differently.
If it doesn't, are there any better solutions to cross posting for authors that don't just involve sharing a link to a Google doc?
