  6. CW: 🗝️ creative writing, jogging in the park

Another early morning, bands of sunlight spilling over the horizon, adding color and a warm glow to a misty blue sky, striped with wispy smatterings of clouds. Cass never seemed to sleep much later than 5AM these days, but in the inconvenience of that, the large white and purple direwolf had found some sense of routine, and comfort in heading out pre-dawn for a few circuits around the park nearest to where she called home.

Nestled in the heart of the city, a sprawl of green; thick bunches of trees with a series of winding paths for walking or biking within and around them. Today, she had opted for a shorter but more advanced route, blending in some steeper inclines, and couple of sections where one could optionally detour down an unpaved path, with plenty of tree roots and large chunks of stone to navigate.

Cresting one of these hills down one of the less-traveled paths and approaching a resting point, Cass gradually slowed, huffing out hot but controlled breaths, finally stopping near a bench and a small watering fountain. She wore a snug teal tank on top, and a pair of matching running shorts on bottom, body covered in a sheen of sweat as the wolfess spent a short while catching her breath, before working into a series of stretches to keep herself limber. Cass sighed out to the sun-dappled skies as she stretched back, arms spread out in a Y-shape, before falling to her sides, leaning forward again, and breathing out a heavier exhale.

Gazing up, letting her breathing calm a bit further, bright violet eyes settled upon an initially plain, shapeless pair of clouds drifting closer to one another. As they merged, a smile grew upon Cass’ muzzle, then emitting a series of soft chuckles before reaching for her phone, and quickly snapping a picture. Immediately she thought of at least three people that’d be happy to see it later, but she’d wait until she was back home before sending it off. She paused at the fountain to rehydrate for a short while, before wiping muzzle and setting off again, grinning more than she had been before that little pit stop. With a head full of good feelings, and some excitement to share the moment with loved ones, Cass carried on down the path, leaving that puffy white heart-shaped cloud high above.

  10. Off to Alaska again, this time just a few days to check on some captive eagles, owls, and hawk. Looking forward to a break after this trip. I’m working on The Bonding today as I travel, writing the closing scenes. #indieauthor #FurryWriting #birdsofmastodon

  20. I am once again begging furry writers to add all their audiobooks to more services than just Audible. I can't afford to use Audible anymore. Their restrictions have become cartoonishly villainous. Which is a shame because it locks me out of a lot of furry lit. #FurryWriting #FurryLit #Booksky

  23. Take a magic battle from a book or movie. Multiply it by 10. Add a teaspoon of Final Fantasy 7. A dash of Gundam. A pinch of Halo. Maybe some Edge of Tomorrow. Stir well. That's this book. Needless to say, it's a fun one. #FurryWriting #FurryLit #Booksky
