German authorities allege that Ukrainian scuba diver Volodymyr Zhuravlev was involved in the Nord Stream explosions.
In 2024, Zhuravlev evaded arrest in #Poland and fled back to #Ukraine. Last year, a Polish court refused to enforce the European arrest warrant issued by #Germany against him, ruling that German authorities had no jurisdiction and that the Nord Stream destruction could be viewed as a justified act by Ukraine in a defensive war. Poland has long opposed the Nord Stream projects.
His Polish defence lawyer, Tymoteusz Paprocki, said if a Croatian court hears this case, it would amount to a ruling on something already decided in Poland, another member state of the European Union, The Guardian reported on Thursday.

¿Quienes dicen defender la #Libertad son los que la estan estrangulando?
Hace un par de decadas, nadie hubiera puesto en entredicho que #Europa y en especial la #UE eran los ejemplos a tener en cuenta en todo orden de cuentas... hoy no son ni la sombra de sus promesas.
Desde el auto-atentado del 11/9 (demasiado curioso que sucediera el mismo dia del #GolpedeEstado de 1973) los paises europeos iniciaron un cambio de direccion que ha llevado al otrora ejemplo de Libertad a convertirse en una zona cada vez mas aislada.
Hoy por la mañana escuchaba una noticia que no me sorprendio, pero reconozco que no esperaba: Los Esclavos Unidos tienen a mas de 100 paises (mas de la mitad del planeta) con sanciones de algun tipo, desde bloqueos politicos hasta asedios economicos y militares. Incluso la #UE completa estaria dentro de esta lista de sanciones economicas.
Por su parte la #UE tendria una lista bastante extensa de paises bajo "castigo", pero nada se si #USA tambien esta dentro de ella, cuestion que me costaria creer.
Volviendo al tema del titulo. La UE prometia ser una isla de #seguridad, #libertad y #paz para todos quienes se encontrarian aqui (por lo mismo recibio el #Nobel De La Guerra)... cuestion que en la practica se ha vuelto poco mas que un fatamorgana o ilusion en el horizonte, cuando descubrimos la Gran Mentira detras de este castillo de naipes.
#Frontex se ha encargado de levantar muros con el resto del mundo "pobre" y NO BLANCO. La #censura que se viene aplicando a los medios ha ido instalando un mundo cada vez mas parecido al de 1984, en donde el discurso oficial nos entrega una realidad falsa, una mentira.
La violacion a los #DDHH que se aplica a diario a las personas, recordemos aqui 2 casos ejemplares como lo son el de los periodistas #FreeAssange y #PabloGonzalezLibertad nos muestra solo la punta de este iceberg... ha conseguido instalar un discurso plagado de medias verdades. O el encubrimiento de hechos, como los del #Sabotaje al #gaseoducto #NordStream que niegan investigar o que encubren la informacion que descubrieron por razones de #seguridad
¿Y que significa "no ser parte activa de una #Guerra" pero si aportar armamento a una de las partes en conflicto? ¿que argumentos sostienen esa falsedad? ¿como prohibir a otros apoyar con armamento a la otra parte, cuando ellos son parte activa, aunque no directa?
¿Y debemos hablar del doble estandar frente al exterminio de #Palestina? ¿O de mantener gran parte de #Africa bajo la bota militar de #Europa y acusar a los paises miembros de no ser responsables, sabiendo que paises como #Francia son los causantes de la #corrupcion o el saqueo de los recursos ahi?
Ahora las nuevas propuestas que han aparecido en #USA, #UK y en el seno de la propia UE para implementar activamente el espionaje de todas las comunicaciones ciudadanas a traves de las redes #cifradas de chat, bajo el argumento de la #seguridad viene a coronar todo el desmantelamiento de los logros que se habian conseguido hasta inicios de los 90s entorno a los #derechos #civiles a nivel continental y global...
