  1. In today's episode of "Who Cares?", #APNIC serves up an enthralling tale of minuscule #RPKI servers run by who-knows-who 🙄. It's a thrilling saga of navigating #Whois databases and paying bills, guaranteed to put you to sleep faster than you can say "IPv6" 😴.

  2. Somebody has rebooted zombo.com via its expired domain name. All I can politely say is that it was definitely done by white people.

Once upon a time you could do anything on zombo.com. Anything was possible. I am so sorry for your loss zombo.com.

  3. Canadian PM Mark Carney was asked “when was the last time you spoke to the president?”

He answered “who cares”, and then continued with a more detailed but no less accurate answer.

    That’s my Prime Minister. 👏👏👏🇨🇦

  4. Oh, the tragedy! 😱 Newspapers publish fake news again, but this time it's courtesy of a robo-writer 🤖. No one cared because, you know, "Who Cares?" is the new journalistic motto! 📉😂

  7. #WhoCares about international digital policy?

In 2024, the @UNTechEnvoy will agree on a Global Digital Compact with key principles, frameworks & action to govern the Digital Age globally.

We want to discuss the expectations: re-publica.com/de/session/who- #rp24 #Partner

There are also many other sessions as part of the #DigitalPolitics Forum - many thanks to our #partner Stiftung Mercator for their support.

  10. CW: #selfnote #verbose #privacy you got warned
when i start brain hemorrhage like this, i never know where i will end.

this time, i didn't know even where to begin!

i started #ahoxus in 2019, in a sense, as a continued work on my feelings towards #freedom.

back in 2004 i got shocked by the existence of #wikipedia, and could never stop looking at open source software ever since.

but much before that, i always remember as a kid (born 1981 here) of how much i loved those books that showed how everything works, from castles, to big cruise ships, and the human body, by simply showing drawings with everything opened up and detailed explanations of all small pieces.

very much like tim do on #waitbutwhy.

i talk a lot about computers, and often forget the other aspects of freedom, because i use computers since very little. perhaps 5 years old.

nowadays, i kind of throw all these feelings together when i bring up #agpl and #fupl. and even my concerns with #transparency or #harmonicchaos.

in the end, just my completely unpaid work (~trying~) to make the world better for me first, and then for everyone who might want to tag along.

but #whocares? certainly paul mccartney never could care enough to get in touch! 🤣
