  1. @mary_ext I've synced movie files to VLC using #MobiusSync so of course works for music too. The real question is what music player can you use on iOS apart from itunes?

  2. If you’re setting up on something like a headless on your network that you ssh into. The cli is pretty terrible for setting up devices and folders, it’s much better to use ssh port forwarding and then configure it in your web browser. My noob self didn’t know ssh port forwarding was a thing, so it was a pretty educational experience. Also, is great on ios, kudos to the developer.

  3. @toran The pro version of Mobius Sync (basically Syncthing for iOS) works extremely well and allows you to sync to arbitrary folders (including the /On My iDevice/Obsidian) folder. It's 5$ USD, but it was worth every penny.

    #Syncthing #iOS #MöbiusSync #mobiussync

  4. Got set up with on my new install yesterday (I’d been using onedrive syncing before). Works like a charm with on . Feels good to be on again for my personal machine. has changed quite bit since I last used it but all in all seem pretty stable I didn’t have any trouble. I’ll get the itch to set up or something else again soon though. I hear is pretty nice as well.

  5. @ryn

    1. they all sync via #Syncthing (#MobiusSync on iOS)

    2. i need a companion to enter notes to sync back to the desktop, 99% of the time.
    So I use @xenodium’s excellent #PlainOrg. plainorg.com/

If you need completely independent apps to manipulate Org notes, there is #Beorg (which I used some and loved) and #Logseq (which I haven’t used)
