  1. I have also read "Let Them" by Mel Robbins but am not sure I can recommend. It spoke to me in some aspects, left me shrugging shoulders in others. Nothing revolutionary, but it might be a good book for emotionally tougher times in life. Offers clear guidelines on how to stop pestering others and just letting them be.
In other words: stoicism for perfectionist women, I'd say.

  4. A couple months ago I saw an interview with Mel Robbins, and her book "The Let Them Theory" was the topic. I just finished it, and it's great. Some things I knew, but MANY things I wish I had known long ago.

Just finished watching this past weekend's broadcast of thr #SundayMorning program on #CBS & watched profiles about 3 people that I had never heard of before:

    1) The #IndieMusic singer & songwriter #JeffTweedy.

    2) The #Podcaster & so-called #LifeCoach #MelRobbins

    And 3) the #ProtestSong singer & songwriter
    #JesseeWells

Interesting people who have large following far beyond the small corner of the world that I occupy. 🤷

  6. Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory landed in my life at the perfect time.
It reminded me that letting people be who they are is actually a way of protecting your own peace.
That idea moved me so much I wrote a song called Let Them.
This is a little behind-the-scenes moment before the release on Dec 12.

  7. @mattgriffin Good for them. It's such a gross story. I'm happy to fill the #MelRobbins hashtag with this.

    Just found it!

I made a comment on the video talking about the plaigarism, and Agle immediately deleted it (or hid it, not sure which). Probably because she has an affiliate link to the book.

This, and her total non-disclosure about whether or how she's paid by all the people on her show pushing their own programs, is icky.

Just something to be aware of, if you're in the chronic illness community and you find her channel.

  9. There's a YouTuber named Raelan Agle who does chronic illness recovery videos. She has some good ones, and I know people personally who have recovered so I already believe it's possible.

But her channel is starting to bother me. In the members-only section there's a recent video espousing Mel Robbins' "Let Them" book. Except that Mel Robbins plagiarized the entire Let Them theory from Cassie Phillips, in a really gross story.

  10. This podcast is from 2023 but I only listened to it this week:

    melrobbins.com/podcasts/episod

Mel Robbins talks about when (and when not) to use the “Let Them” theory for a healthier and happier life.

    I thoroughly recommend spending the time to listen. #podcast #happiness #MelRobbins #LifeHack

  11. Playing the #FindingHearts game thanks to listening to the #MelRobbins podcast. It’s a useful exercise to show that we can reframe our mental outlook with a mindset re-set.
I’m not usually one for #SelfHelp or #woo in general, but as an exercise this really works!
