i'm watching #ElSayed and #Mamdani here in the #USA and i am delighted:
people are waking up from their #perfectionism and #cynicism and figuring out they have to fucking participate, and not just sit on the sidelines and judge
so yes the wait is excrutiating
but relief is coming, as you say, and i also believe

I have also read "Let Them" by Mel Robbins but am not sure I can recommend. It spoke to me in some aspects, left me shrugging shoulders in others. Nothing revolutionary, but it might be a good book for emotionally tougher times in life. Offers clear guidelines on how to stop pestering others and just letting them be.
In other words: stoicism for perfectionist women, I'd say.
