I recently came across this quote:

"Silence cannot be misquoted."

I decided to add my own touch to it (inspired by Mel Robbins' "Let Them" theory,another attempt to finally master it):

"Let them think and say what they will."

How many times have I heard these phrases? How often have I thought, "Ah, tuck off and stop stressing me"?

But today, for the first time, it actually worked. Can you imagine what a milestone this is for me and my ADHD brain?

A couple months ago I saw an interview with Mel Robbins, and her book "The Let Them Theory" was the topic. I just finished it, and it's great. Some things I knew, but MANY things I wish I had known long ago.

Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory landed in my life at the perfect time.
It reminded me that letting people be who they are is actually a way of protecting your own peace.
That idea moved me so much I wrote a song called Let Them.
This is a little behind-the-scenes moment before the release on Dec 12.

Let Them...The idea behind this way of thinking is that negative people are going to do what they are going to do, so you can take back your power by letting them. You don't need to use your precious energy to fight their negativity.
