Anyone else using #zen internet, specifically via #OpenReach FTTP, having problems accessing hosts on #janet / #jisc networks this morning?

Traceroutes are failing for me around lag-0.bng1.ixn-lon.zen.net.uk and lag-4.p2.ixn-lon.zen.net.uk

NB. my "internet" seems fine, it's just stuff on Jisc/JANET I can't access

Auf der gefallenen Kurznachrichtenplattform (Twitter) habe ich eben Werbung für #MDPI #OpenAccess gesehen, die ihr Open-Access-Agreement für 60+ britische Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen nach Verhandlungen mit #Jisc bis Ende 2025 verlängert haben.

#Jisc has issued an interesting report commissioned by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) department.

It looks at an apparently novel potential strategy for evolving a federated and coordinated UK-wide digital research infrastructure; somewhat similar to what we've seen in the US with the evolution of research cyberinfrastructure. Yet, there are interesting differences between this report and what's happening in the US.
