@egonw "Once they have critical mass, they will start charging non-zero APCs." - it very disappoining to recently find out that RSC's only #DiamondOA journal, Chemical Science, was flipped to gold. So it's not just a commercial journal strategy (although there are MANY examples of those). This was very disappointing!

I completely support the message about preprints.But please don't perpetuate the myth that all or even most #OpenAccess journals charge #APCs. Most do not charge APCs (#DiamondOA). And OA repositories never charge APCs (#GreenOA).
