No, #MSWord, I do not want you to “helpfully” recheck the “Ordinals (1st) with superscript” setting every time you update.
I have spent my career battling this setting. It’s the 21st century, #Microsoft. Using superscript in abbreviations went out of style a long time ago!

A practitioner of any field experiences two different kinds of #exasperation: the empowering kind and the oppressive kind. The empowering kind compels the practitioner to raise his performance. The oppressive kind induces the practitioner to lower his expectations.
It is the responsibility of the individual practitioner to embrace the empowering exasperation to attain the desired results. And it is the responsibility of the manager to shield his team from the oppressive exasperations—this is why it is crucial for the manager to have adequate practice experience.
It would be interesting to see the "exasperation quotient" ratings of various human endeavours.

@MistyMelanie @actuallyautistic @Tooden Only very mildly #snark. More #exasperation about keeping up with how to be #acutallyautistic the #rightway on #mastodon. One of my #autistic features is #followingrules. So if the rules changed, I definitely want to know.
