Die #Gletscher der Hohen Tauern verlieren zunehmend ihren schützenden Altschnee.

Bereits im Juli ist großflächig #Blankeis sichtbar, das früher erst im Herbst zum Vorschein kam. Besonders betroffen sind die #Pasterze und das #Schlatenkees. Ohne Eisnachschub aus den Gipfeln droht bald der vollständige Verlust. Es gibt instabile Zonen mit akuter #Lebensgefahr für #Bergsteiger.
