Die #Gletscher der Hohen Tauern verlieren zunehmend ihren schützenden Altschnee.
Bereits im Juli ist großflächig #Blankeis sichtbar, das früher erst im Herbst zum Vorschein kam. Besonders betroffen sind die #Pasterze und das #Schlatenkees. Ohne Eisnachschub aus den Gipfeln droht bald der vollständige Verlust. Es gibt instabile Zonen mit akuter #Lebensgefahr für #Bergsteiger.

Today I take you to Heinrich-Schwaiger-Haus for #mountainmonday - a hut where you can sit and look eye to eye to the bearded vultures flying by.
Only downside: you have 800m of elevation in switchbacks, straight up the the mountain from the bottom of the damn forming the lake you see below.

* die fünftgrößten der WeltSo steht es irgendwo im Netz. Mag alles stimmen oder auch nicht, sie sind auf jeden Fall beeindruckend. Die #Wanderung haben wir dann gleich noch verlängert bis zur #Hölzlahneralm. #Gröstl und #Kaiserschmarrn, davon kann man leben.

Tak včerejší fotky ze začátku minitreku měly úspěch a koneckonců, když je nikam nenahraju, tak akorát zapadnou někde v mých domácích archivech.
Nejlepší výhled byl teoreticky z vrcholu #hundstein ale ráno bylo víc modro. Se sněhem #hohetauern beze sněhu #hochkönig (tam jsem včera došel a teď sedím u kafe a uploaduju). -
Pokračování předchozího, aneb učím se po 5 letech s novým mobilem: aha, ono to umí i zoomovat :-) Útěšný maloburžoazní kýč k vaší raní kávě!
Výhled ráno po probuzení: v pozadí Vysoké Taury. Nejvyšší zasněžený štít je Grosser Wiesbachhorn (3564 m) a jeden z kopců vlevo od něj je přímo Grossglocker (3798 m).
Tady okolo nikde nikdo, i když je tudy značená zásadní turistická trasa.

Omluvte prosím zvýšenou kvalitu fotek z treku, ale nový mobil takhle prostě fotí. Samozřejmě, konkurence je ve fedivesmíru veliká a Babica radí: když nemáš Montanu (jako @boninska !!!), vraž tam aspoň Tyroly...

Na rozdíl od posledních pokusů s lezením po šutrech jsem tentokrát vyrazil trochu níž, ale ma místa, ze kterých jsou ty šutry pořádně vidět. A kde rostou borůvky...
