Put up some new Ikea shelving units to display our knickknacks. The time was roughly evenly divided between shopping, assembly, and removing the sticker they slapped on the glass shelves. (Eventual working solution: butter.) The first two parts had such an exquisitely-engineered user experience that the last was surprising. Maybe glass shelves are to Ikea what mice are to Apple.

All that remains of him

Over sufficient time
all things tend to corrode
No handiwork so fine
Protection e'er bestowed
That stayed the passing hour
From showering with dust
Or turned the fresh milk sour
Or filigree to rust

Savour the chippèd things
The dogeared and the frayed
The dusty, marked with dings
The flawed and the unmade
For we, as with this junk,
Will tear and snag and break
Will foul up with the gunk
Sloughed from time's fetid lake

Rich hands crave power

There is something shocking to reveal though: I'm not entirely happy with the result (show was recorded already last Sunday) because the block of electronic music is definitely oversized this time making the whole construct quite unbalanced. But on my quest for new music this can be the result then and when. Hope you'll have phun anyways.
At least we have kewl music by someone from the Fediverse in it: The very talented Mr. @[email protected] (but pssst, he is operating under disguise this time!) → Greetings :-)

RADIO IRRTUM! geht mal wieder… äähh… in die Luft — heute (Samstag, 13.04.2024) um 20 Uhr auf Alex Berlin (Frequenzen/Stream s.o.)!

Radio Irrtum! ist meine Radiosendung, in der wir zusammen die Weiten des musikalischen Untergrunds erforschen.
Diesmal treffen wir auf alte B-Kante (siehe Kurz-Video), checken einen eventuellen Scam rund um Liv.e und vor allem gibt es Massen von Musik zu hören:

- Lofi Elektro-Pop als wäre es 1981!
- Uprock Breakbeat als wäre es 1997!

Und dann auch noch das: So richtig zufrieden bin ich dieses mal nicht mit der Sendung (die schon am Sonntag aufgenommen wurde): Der Block mit elektronischer Musik ist viel zu groß geraten und bringt das ganze Konstrukt leider aus dem Gleichgewicht. Aber das passiert dann und wann, wenn ich auf neue unbekannte Musik fokussiere.

Egal; ich hoffe, es macht dennoch Spaß! Fediverse-Grüße oben, Playlist + Manuskript nach der Show (spätestens Sonntag) hier drunter. Fragen einfach stellen – ich antworte!

Is it just me or is there a lack of variety for imagery for a #DnD #Giff #Monk?
I'm looking for #DungeonsAndDragons #art of a #Hippofolk that doesn't have all that epaulets and/or colonial military clothes and/or some kind of pipe/firestarter hanging out of their mouth.
NOTE: A pistol or rifle is okay, I'm going to try a #Gunk (Gun Monk) build in our #Spelljammer campaign... Nothing says #fisticuffs like bullets and bludgeoning whacks!
So far the "Giff Brawler" by #ClaudioPozas has come closest.
