Action shot of today's hobbying. I zenithaled Fulgrim and a son of Vulkan. The latter will be used for testing the green Shifter Paint hues before I put them on Vulkan himself. He will be so shiny and pretty! And I will test Shifters over darkened metallics. Let's see how it will work out!

I finished 30k Fulgrim today. The scariest part was his face and the most tedious was the gold lace. The most fun part was the base.

Steadily chipping away on the Phoenician. Today it was base colours for the armour and starting on the base.

And on the base I'm placing a few clear resin crystals. I am so stoked about using those for the first time! They look so pretty and I am planning to tint them purple and blue. A friend recommended them to me and I immediately bought some.

Thinking about #Fulgrim constantly getting attacked by his offspring

It's so funny to me. The primarch handcrafted to be adored gets into way more (serious) fights with his sons than any other of his brothers.

(Angron doesn't count)

They gang up on him (the Captains), they scream at him and hit him (Eidolon), they try to turn him into a pincushion and - again - hit him (Fabius) ...

In conclusion: I love the #EmperorsChildren so much. They are peak dysfunctional family. #Warhammer

I rarely draw Primarchs these days, but I was in the mood for sparkly snake daddy today. Not yet very snek, though.

Apparently I need even more projects this year. So I started super deformed chibi-Primarchs on a whim.
But this isn't too time-consuming, they are not that time-consuming. And it's fun. Who doesn't like cutsey versions of Avatars of war and conquest?
First up: Fulgrim and Ferrus Manus. Because I aditionally decided to draw them in matching pairs.

If Perturabo/Horus had realised how important environmental enrichment is to keep Emperor's Children happy, they would have provided cardboard boxes for Fulgrim to sit in and he would have stayed on Terra, finishing his job.
It may be hard to come by demon-Primarch-sized boxes, but some Rhino-shipping-boxes would have done the trick.
