Overall, it also feels rather refreshing to see a non-Space Marine focused story in the WH40k universe.
One really weird thing though is Games Workshop's penchant for renaming everyday things. E.g. Space Marines aren't Space Marines anymore, they're "Astartes" now. And electricity is the "Motive Force".
And something I only realised after 20h of gameplay: "Wounds" is actually "health". That one escaped me, because the game has an "injury" mechanic as well. 🤦

Over the last few weeks, I started the Warhammer 40k video game Rogue trader. I'm now about 20h in, and if you like cRPGs and aren't entirely opposed to the WH40k setting, I can warmly recommend it.
It has the basics: Complex character creation. Many companions with their own opinions. Badly written RPG romances. Impactful decisions. And, what I do like, you can hover over certain phrases in dialogue, and the game will tell you which decision it is due to.

I started playing #RogueTrader recently.
I love the #WH40K lore and world building, and I like it in this game too.
But man, this game needs some simplification, half of them time I have no idea what I am doing. Does this ability do something? Why are there so many statuses and things I can increment?
I get to use new things all the time (extractium?) without it ever being explained.So many things!
