It's Monday.
I am still in a very bad bout of depression (the worst kind - you are able to function and look normal but there's exactly nothing giving you joy or meaning any more and why even bother with going places or meeting friends ...), but I did my best to come up with something for Marine Meat Monday.

Now I am ready for the "bring one mini of your choice"-challenge at the local Warhammer Store next weekend.
It was a very welcome kick in the butt to get me to finally build and paint him. Apparently I am motivated by competitive stuff. Who would have thunk.

I love that Games Workshop not only gave the new (relatively, it's about nine months out now) Lucius-mini HOOF-HIGH-HEELS, but also matching garters for his leg armour!

I am not saying, high heels with hooves and digilegs are a very practical idea, but, boy, does he rock it!

Lucius the Eternal is done!
He's not the official model, didn't get it and it's still sold out. But this third party one is so good! I gave him a fem Astartes head, because way better looks and hair and just exaggerated the bone structure a bit to make him EC.

Don't know how long I took to paint him, because I did him over the course of two weeks. Maybe four hours?

Today I got up at 5:30 and was full of hobbying spirit!

So I got the Shifter paint on Lucius and even added some details.

Tomorrow: More details, base and done!

I love the Shifters effect on his armour. It's not as overwhelming as with my test-mini and it fits him so perfectly!

Onward and upward! More progress on Lucius.
I got some good dark purple-purple-pinkish-gradients on his armour. I bet the Shifter colour will take great to this.
Next to no detail, yet, of course. Shifters first.
I am really having fun with this mini! I may still be a newbie, severely lacking in the routine-department and finding out stuff most people knew for years, but I love the journey!

I finished 30k Fulgrim today. The scariest part was his face and the most tedious was the gold lace. The most fun part was the base.

Steadily chipping away on the Phoenician. Today it was base colours for the armour and starting on the base.

And on the base I'm placing a few clear resin crystals. I am so stoked about using those for the first time! They look so pretty and I am planning to tint them purple and blue. A friend recommended them to me and I immediately bought some.
