    I even stooped as low as I'm willing to go and installed Windows 10 in a VM without inet access. Their app won't install without having inet access to download more stuff.

    I have never tried so hard in all of my life to configure a universal remote.

  14. J'ai acheté un #raspberrypi4 et dans la foulée, j'ai acheté un boitier #flirc pour le rpi4 mais aussi pour un pour un rpi3 que j'utilise depuis longtemps mais qui n'a jamais eu de boitier.

    La commande est arrivée lundi mais j'ai à peine eu le temps de la regarder. Cette nuit, j'ai rêvé qu'ils avaient envoyé un boitier pour rpi4 et pour rpi2.

    Ce matin, je vérifie. Il y a bien une erreur... J'ai reçu deux boitiers pour rpi4.😫

  19. Yeesh. The #geekworm Pi case gets real hot even without much load. Problem is that the BOTTOM gets hot as well. Scared to leave it on my desk. I'm using the base of the #flirc case as a "coaster" until I can figure out a better solution. Real surprised it doesn't come with teensy risers.

  24. @dhrystone Interesting, since I just did the same with one of my Pis (#Flirc to #geekworm). Did it so I could have a Pi4 with GPIO pins exposed

Running overclocked (overvoltage 4, arm_freq 1900) and idle at ~53°C right now, other case had it at high 60’s. Will be interesting to see how it performs at load. And yes I know active cooling is better. It’s also mechanical, and louder. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  34. Pushed the latest code cuz why not dunno if anyone out there could use it but I really like basically making a #FLirc dongle out of an #ESP32 #S2 and an IR Receiver

    Also here's a crappy pic of the 3D Case I designed for the unit; fits the #WEMOS S2 Mini snugly and has room for GPIO pins and F-F cables hooked up to the Receiver. Pretty proud of it considering it's my first ever attempt at #FreeCAD and #3DPrinting in general.

  37. Heute kam ich wieder ein bisschen zum #basteln. Die Infrastruktur um die #t0nybox ist etwas ausgebaut und die erste Karte in der Version 1 (locked #QR) ist fertig. Die Karten werden nun nach Aufnahme in die Kartenverwaltung freigeschalten.

  40. Kleinere Optimierung: #sshfs wird nun per #autofs on #demand gemounted. Timeout: 3600 Sekunden. Das wird etwas Last vom Filer nehmen, wenn der Prototyp nicht mehr alleine ist. :-)
