Yesterday's #TTRPG mailbag.
#ForbiddenLands I have been eyeballing this one for a while. I really like the #YearZeroEngine and I like a lot of what this has to offer. The only concern I have is the Willpower currency, but online chats have said it works.
(I own way too many fantasy RPGs.)
#Marvel Multiversal: I wasn't sure if I would ever buy this; I prefer ICONS for superheroic stuff. However, the mechanics as similar enough to #FantasyAGE that I was sold.

5/366: Through varying means, the deities of Yewdar have begotten children. To these "dweomertouched" individuals are granted keen senses, durability, and a greatly increased lifespan. Some have become great exemplars of their parents' faith communities. Others have tried to live quietly away from the tides of history.
Talespinners the world over say that any time two dweomertouched are in the same place, the greatest of tales are born.

4/366: EIX is one of the most powerful demonic entities ever to plague Yewdar.
It is also as dumb as a post.
EIX is the embodiment of raw entropic principle. It exists more as force of nature than conscious being, scouring order from its surroundings with the patience of eternity.
In the early Mourning Age, Quoloth the Devourer manifested EIX within the heart of the dream realm, Vakaré. The god of dreams, Jashus, has been asleep ever since.

3/366: Yewdar's sole moon, Taupra, has a daemon infestation.
Sort of.
The Iz'ek are colonial organisms native to Entropius who prefer the ordered reality of Yewdar's material plane. They populate Yewdar's satellite as part of some deal they have struck with the Twelve.
Contact between mortals and the Iz'ek are rare but have almost always been non-violent (if mystifying) affairs. The gods are oddly silent on the Iz'ek and their nature. #Lore24 #worldbuilding #yewdar #fantasyAge #ttrpgs

The victor of the Rites of Succession becomes the next Imperator for life.
Observers of the Shrouded Council expect House Bizlain heir Lady Hialan Bizlain to be a favorite to win the Rites.

At the beginning of our #FantasyAge campaign I was keeping an in character journal. Fast forward 3 years, something the GM ( @valthonis ) said in what we were doing at the time triggered a memory and I start scrambling to find a journal entry for a dream my character had that seemed connected and it was!! Its one of my favorite moments of that game -
Our little band took out the ghoul that the GM had thought would escape, being "too difficult" for us to kill.

Tonight we hit the road on our way to a job in another town. Rumor has it there's an interesting tree on the way, so Otterdottar's prepared to help Pancake (the golden retriever wildfolk barbarian) stay on track.
Provided she was able to find Molly again, to buy more oysters before they actually leave town . . .

Also, Otterdottar jumped into the Founder's Fountain and took a lap and didn't get arrested or fined. Whew.

This week our characters are wandering around the Big City, likely gawking at sights and spending their hard-earned coins.
Otterdottar is likely to cool off in a fountain. I sure hope it's not illegal for her to do so.
She's also on the lookout for fresh oysters, which she knows she'll have to buy, but having been offered cooked ones last week, she's on a mission.

GAME NIGHT!
Our intrepid party (an ogre healer-priest type, a dog beastfolk warrior [inasmuch as a golden retriever can be], an orean rogue [like a clockwork golem but cooler], and my otter beastfolk rogue who loves swimming and playing games as much as taking things that aren't hers) are on their way to become guards for a shipping barge.
I know it won't be that simple. Not with us. And that's the cool part.

So, uh… the amount of customization one can do to Obsidian is… non-trivial.
This is the vault for Yewdar I just finished cutomizing, and the fact that I can make it match the “house colors” for the setting tickles me no end.
