He donado cuatro cuentos de La Plaza Mayor y la obra teatral napoleónico de Cádiz en el centro cultural El Torito en el madrileño barrio de Moratalaz. Los seis libros están forrados con la etiqueta BookCrossing como aparece en la segunda foto.

Meet-up with some bookcrossing friends today. One of them was visiting from another town and we met for the first time. Today we also had a non-bookcrosser spontaneously joining in with us. Nice encounters and great talk. Sometimes when the world feels ugly meeting other people and connecting this way restore my hope.

Does anyone remember #BookCrossing? I wonder if it is still a thing. 📖
It was about leaving a book in a public place so that it would be found by a stranger. You would attach a label to the book prior to its 'release' that included a unique code called BCID (http://bookcrossing.com/howto). So when found, the person would hopefully enter the code in the #BookCrossing Website and it would create a trail of the book, which eventually should be 'released' for the next person. Or something like that...
I remember leaving quite a few books in park benches. But I never received a ping about their location, so I supposed they were lost or thrown to the garbage.
Anyway, it seems that they are trying something somewhat similar in the #NSW town of #Braidwood, with the idea of motivating kids to read books 👍

Tempo di registrazione. Ho pensato di farvi una sorta di tutorial con foto per mostravi quanto sia semplice fare una registrazione del futuro libro libero.

Tra sette giorni sarà primavera. Ma non solo.
Il 21 marzo come ogni anno, da 22 anni si festeggia e “pratica” la giornata mondiale della semina dei libri. Si fa #bookcrossing, insomma! Si torna a farlo, anche se già dall’anno scorso, dico la verità, qualche movimento c’è stato.
