Doorsday. The door leading to the roof and view point of the Clocktower in St Albans. Tower was constructed during the first years of the 1400s. Lad in the blue shirt is 187 cm tall. We didn't measure the door opening, but estimated it's just under 140 cm in height.

Reeeally thick trunk of a tree growing just outside the entrance to the cathedral in St Albans. Me for scale (164 cm or 5'4.5''). Also a joyful memory of a wonderful, warm and sunny evening with friends on a vacation day when I had neither headache nor torticollis, as is the case today. 😖

This is the Lady Chapel from #StAlbans #cathedral. While the cathedral dates from the 11thC I think this is mostly #Victorian restoration. The light was just right for this shot.

This week a set from a visit to #StAlbans #cathedral - a little north of London. The #romanesque arches you see here, and most of the church is 11th century Norman, but there are a lot of gothic and Victorian additions - and you can see the joins.
#ttartisan10mmf2 on #Olympus EM1iii. This a relatively new lens for me. I like it and it's excellent value. I like the sun stars which considering it was probably at f2.8 were a surprise.
