Bath, ME 04530"Free fresh vegetables gleaned from #LocalFarms provided by the #MerrymeetingGleaners and #MidCoast #HungerPrevention Program. Find the Sharing Table outside the Children's Room from September-May and in the Gazebo during the summer.
Sharing tables are open to anyone, there is no income or residency requirement and they are 100% anonymous. The tables are stocked with #FreshProduce as well as some prepared items, processed using any surplus gleaned food. #TakeWhatYouNeed and leave the rest for your friends and neighbors. Produce will vary depending on what is available from the farms and gardens. Please bring your own bags."

@lpv Das wäre zu schön. Die Realität sind aber aufgeweichte Pappkartons mit allerlei "Kram", die dann zu Lasten aller (!) von der Stadtreinigung, die natürlich zu wenige Leute hat, entsorgt werden müssen.
P.S.: Ich teile gern. Bin bei #PumpiPumpe, nebenan.de, #Carsharing, #BookCrossing und #Foodsharing. Und ja, es macht Aufwand.

"We share food on Tuesdays between 12:00 and 6:00 and Thursdays between 10:00 and 2:00, at our #EcoHub at #SwanspoolPavilion, with surplus food from Food Sharers, retailers and community friends. We have lots of fresh fruit and veg, bread and other treats plus, the kettle’s on too if you fancy a coffee or tea! Your donations will also be shared with sharers!

Wusstet ihr, dass in Deutschland jedes Jahr mehr als 10 Tonnen Lebensmittel weggeworfen werden? Lebensmittel, die vorher mit viel Aufwand, unter großer Flächennutzung, und unter Einsatz von hohen CO2-Emissionen und vielen, vielen Litern Wasser produziert wurden.
Das muss nicht sein. Und es gibt verschiedene Wege, wie du selber dazu beitragen kannst, diese Verschwendung zu beenden.
🍎 Einer davon: Rette übriggebliebene Lebensmittel! Zum Beispiel mit spezialisierten Foodsharing-Apps wie Too Good To Go oder foodsharing.de - oder einfach auf nebenan.de. Damit findest du ganz einfach Abnehmer*innen für deine eigenen überschüssigen Lebensmittel oder kannst deinen Speiseplan selbst mit vor dem Wegwerfen geretteten Lebensmitteln komplettieren.
