#Jami я пробовал в последние 3 года в разных сочетаниях (устройства, провайдеры). Но к сожалению даже без влияния блокировок прохождение сообщений оставляло желать лучшего. Если какие-то устройства не online, то потом прогружают невероятно медленно. Было дело сообщение приходило ерез пару месяцев.#Bitchat невероятно много жрёт. Даже на LineageOS. использовать такой на единственном телефоне можно только сидя у розетки. Но интереснее всего попробовать bridge в радиоканал meshcore.
При этом насколько я помню он отказывался запускаться на телефоне с root :blobcatblush2:#Berty не пробовал, надо бы.

Vin que os papaxoubas de #Telegram acaban de limitar o de bloquear as mensaxes privadas de descoñecidos para que só o poidan facer os usuarios Premium. Levan xa un tempo tocándome o carallo con estas cousas.
Alguén coñece unha alternativa opensource interesante a Telegram e Whatsapp? Probei a beta de #Berty pero non me funciona demasiado ben -
Pretty impressed initially looking at #Berty messenger. I lowkey dislike Signal's centralised nature and have been on the lookout for purely decentralised options for a while that use distributed hashtables etc. Briar is promising, but it's Android only and you can't transfer your account to different devices yet. #Cwtch sounds interesting because it is based on a private and anonymous @torproject #OnionSite (much like #Briar). I hope it will become available via @fdroidorg soon.
#Berty is kind of interesting because if uses #IPFS which is not as bad as people might think just because the Web3 cryptobros use it. Sadly, the Berty website relies on Google Amp and Amazon Cloudfront. :oh_no:

Trying out #berty because it's some new open source thing and it has a cute logo. I've been using Telegram, but haven't bothered to switch.
So far, my wife can message me, but I can't message her.

@Edent We are talking about tech people rely on for their safety, so that wasn't just for your benefit.
I use a "secure" walkie talkie on some days out - useful in a maze! - and have no illusions that it's actually secure (nor does it need to be).

@Edent why did you choose Berty? Their own blog cautions against using it; albeit saying isn't "war ready".
Their security claims haven't been externally verified, so I think it's premature to use it for anything other than experimentation or messages you don't mind being read.

#berty im android uses google push servers, which means a lot of lineageos users won't get push notifications.

@gregorius No i znów... do wczoraj najbardziej dziwny wydawał się #Scuttlebutt. Dziś jednak mamy #Berty, który chodzi w ramach #BLE, bez „kabla od internetu”. :-)
