- Show last usage timestamp of OMEMO keys
- Use the iOS 18 UI in the share sheet
- Allow using any language in the Display Name field in account settings
- Try to improve location sharing accuracy
- Improve contact last activity timestamps
- Fix several bugs

I turned on the debug log. No activity. No upload slot requested. Nothing.

Messages go fine. Upload does not work at all. It's #monal version six point four point something. Not zero point six, no: exactly six point something. Years of if not development but at least asking ChatGPT and Claude to do that sort of things.

People! If you are planning to use #xmpp, just do not. I wasted three month with it, are you ready to do the same?

A former #xmpp user came to me today looking for help. They needed to send a video from their #iphone to someone but he forgot the password from their gooledrive.

A quarter of 21th century is gone and users still have problems sharing their files.

Okay, I said, let's try #xmpp. You did not delete #Monal, did you? - No, I didn't, they said. I quickly brought up the container with #prosody and checked upload from #conversations_im It worked. Okay, try it I said. They tried. Nothing happened.

One #monal user came today: "Your chat went crazy!"

He showed me his iphone: the screen was flickering.

I checked prosody logs. Nothing.

I looked at the screen again and got what happened.

A day ago I sent three links to that user. Monal tried to get a preview but the site kicked back with antibot protection.
Instead of displaying something sane Monal seemed to retry without any delay that caused flickering.

@prav was rejected by #Apple from app store saying it is similar to #Quicksy and #Monal. So we are exploring our options to make Prav available to iPhone users. Ideas and help welcome.

We are also looking at #aptoid and also filing a complaint with Competition Commission. Why should we allow Apple to gatekeep apps on iPhone?
