My occasional apology for the complete lack (or nearly) of cocktail/rum content after all the "I'm going to lean back into this" talk. I'm dealing with a disc so herniated it has pinned my spinal cord against the other side of the spinal column and like, it hurts a bit and the combination of medications for controlling that while we explore long-term treatment is like, not friendly to drinking. #cocktails #backproblems

Sunday log:
Ongoing discussion with the lower back department aren't going as well as hoped. I have now turned to bribing with muscle relaxers and praise. The receiving of this has been met with luke warm entusiasm as some pain receptors are still putting up a fight.
I am mobile but still in pain and also angry.

My lower back took a decision above it's pay grade about function and how much movement a human actually needs.I, as the CEO of this body, am yet again reminded on how little power I actually have.
If I don't see to the needs of different departments of my body some of them will not be able to complete their tasks and they will take matters in their own hands.
And I will be on my back struggling to move.
