J'ai un souci avec mon nord rack 3 : après un temps de chauffe, le volume devient instable, il change en quasi permanence. Si je touches le bouton de volume général, ça le modifie mais il continue à varier, avec une grande amplitude. Une idée de ce qui pourrait causer ça ?

Just scraping the #IANA assigned TLDs and the corresponding documented #nameservers. What I don't get is, why so many companies apply for a #TLD. It's not particularly cheap to apply for one of those ngTLDs, yet compared to the company sizes, it's probably pennies. Is it a prestige investment? Is it a digital resource to grab, before someone else does it?

Other than #Microsoft, #Google, and #AWS, I've rarely seen any ngTLD representing a corporation's name to actually be used in practice.

Does anyone in the #infosec community share their view?

Whilst there are some questions about #zoom it's an order of magnitude better.

Is there any great book on #AlpineLinux ? I love the concept, and love the considerations of the operating system. Yet, I usually opt for #Debian since I am much more familiar with it. It would be great to change that in the mid-term.

Does anyone know of an android music app that can play tracks downloaded to a folder but doesn't auto play the next track when the current one finishes?

I have to play some music at an event via a Bluetooth speaker and the apps I can find all jump to the next track automatically, but I need to be able to play them individually.

The web gets crawled even more recently for the purpose of enriching LLMs like ChatGPT.

❓ Are there any substantial, technical defenses against this?

Details:

Afaik `robots.txt` gets ignored and `User Agent` strings get spoofed, let's not assume good faith.

I'm thinking about things server-side rate limiting or (so sorry) dynamically loading web content via JavaScript. Which is (without any good reason) an anti-pattern, but at least a workaround for these desperate times.
