Ok, so I have this HP-server in my garage that I've had for years.
I decided to plug it in, add drives and connect the iLO port.

Ofcourse, I have forgotten the iLO password - and I dont have a monitor that I can use to reset it via the BIOS.

I do remember this vulnerability from a couple of years ago, that where I could get the password (or change it) for the Administrator user with a curl post request.
But I can't find it.

Ich (Friedrich-Janine) bin seit meiner Kindheit mit Leib und Seele Sonnenblumenzüchter*in - und zwar speziell in jener Disziplin, in der es darum geht, die Blumen so hoch wie möglich wachsen zu lassen. Im Rahmen meiner früheren, schon über zehnjährigen Arbeit mit Sonnenblumen in Deutschland war ich zwischenzeitlich bereits auf ein Maximum von 7,61 m gekommen, was in Österreich nach meiner Kenntnis bis heute bundesweiter Rekord wäre.

Nachdem ich (bedingt durch mein Engagement im Klimaaktivismus) seit 2020 den Großteil meines Lebens in Wien verbringe, kann ich allerdings mangels passendem Garten derzeit leider meiner großen Leidenschaft nicht nachgehen, was mir persönlich im Leben innerhalb der vergangenen Jahre eine immer größer gewordene Lücke gerissen hat - weswegen ich nun händeringend auf der Suche nach einem Ort bin, an dem ich endlich wieder loslegen kann - noch besser, noch professioneller als ich es je gemacht habe. Nicht zuletzt auch dafür, um eines Tages hoffentlich auch wieder neue Energie für mein gesellschaftliches Engagement zu haben 🌱
Doch mir werden an allen Ecken und Enden bürokratische Steine in den Weg geworfen: Während beispielsweise gerade bei Wiener Neustadt eine neue Umfahrungsstraße mitten durchs Natura2000-Schutzgebiet (!) gebaut wird, ist mir nur wenige hundert Meter davon entfernt auf dem Grundstück eines Landwirts auf Basis der örtlichen Flächenwidmung verboten worden, mein Stütz-Gerüst aufzubauen, worauf derart hoch wachsende Sonnenblumen zwingend angewiesen sind (Anmerkung: Eine Hauswand wie auf dem Bild braucht es dafür nicht unbedingt!).

Deswegen suche ich nun von Neuem nach einem lieben Menschen mit größerem Garten, der es mir ermöglicht, meine Sonnenblumenzucht wieder aufzunehmen.
Es wird nicht laut, nicht umweltverschmutzend oder artengefährdend wie so manches andere Projekt (#Autobahn) - Sonnenblumenzucht bedeutet stattdessen, jeden Tag den Pflanzen beim Wachsen zuschauen und sich an ihnen erfreuen zu dürfen. Und nebenbei gäbe es noch ein wenig sonstige Gartenpflege gratis von mir dazu, insbesondere Rasenmähen - denn der Grünschnitt daraus stellt die Basis jedes perfekten Düngers dar 🌾

Wenn mir wer ab dem kommenden Jahr in Wien / Umkreis bis zu 50 km um Wien ein Stück Grünfläche zur Verfügung stellen mag oder Menschen mit Garten kennt, in dem das möglich sein könnte, würde mich das riesig freuen. Falls nicht, würde es mir sehr weiterhelfen, wenn ihr meinen Aufruf überall (!) auf Social Media teilt.

This error in MX Linux KDE edition is now annoying

@dff Searching the #unixODBC site, it looks like there was a text/#csv #ODBC driver called #SQI with LGPL license. I'm not seeing the code in the latest version of unixODBC even though the driver is listed at their site. However, much older versions of unixODBC had a txt subdirectory under Drivers with the code. Wonder if anyone's using this driver and how hard it would be to get it built and working. #AskFedi #AskFediverse

I need help: I managed to get Hearts Of Iron 4 working on my son's Ubuntu till I messed around with Lutris to get him Fortnite on his PC.
I even created anew user profile for him but am not able to get HOI4 running again, Steam says it's launching but the game immediately quits.

For the love of God! Why doesn't a #libre #OpenSource #RMM tool exist? Maybe it does but I have trouble finding a good one on the web. Any ideas for remotely monitoring computers running #Linux? Oh yes and I need to be able to self host the thing.
