  1. Hello I'm new to the fediverse and I am entering it right away recently, I am a spriter (Pixel artist) and I am seeking feedback and to upload my creations everywhere I could, here is my first upload into mastodon hope you like it 🤗

  2. Testing a different art style for the #nesjam game after I learned to use gradients in #asesprite (a bit too much maybe 😅 )

  3. Today's progress in #GameDev 🎮 was starting a new project in #Godot :godot:, creating a Pong clone. I thought it would be a quick task achievable in an afternoon, but I only managed to create the sprites on #Asesprite :aseprite: and program the player's paddle movement and general collisions. Still need to code the ball movement, opponent AI, and the UI displaying player scores.

A piece of advice I came across on YouTube is to multiply the estimated time for a project by two... it holds true.

  4. #asesprite crash course completed! I’m NOT expecting to become a pro pixel artist but to be someone who can make something good enough for freeware.

  5. First day of the #spelkollektivet game jam done, learnt how to use #asesprite, learnt about the #Godot UI in the earlier part of the day, then mostly spriting the player sprites the rest of the day.

  6. I also took on learning how to do pixel art! I found a quite cute picture of a beetle tamagochi, so I tried to make it in Asesprite. I'd like to do more tamagochi work, even in drawing and in 3D! There is so much you can do with it!
