I still can't reliably import Textures on my .glb files, but managed to mangle something together.
It seems that the "File is large on disk" was *actually* being caused by the Trimesh Collider!
Replace with a "Multiple Simplified" and the warning goes away.:(

I'm having some actual fun playing my game, buying maps with cheated gold and using them to find new islands. This core mechanic clearly works, even if it's super bare bones at this point.
I should really consider streaming some of this playtesting. There are some glaringly obvious problems I want to address first, but they are easy to fix. After that, I'll have no excuse to be shy anymore.

I did not find a way to easily make an animation stop motion like in godot, so I made this, check alt text for raw text: #GodotEngine

Instead of the Berlin Interpretation, might make my Roguelike follow the Copenhagen Interpretation:
Everything exists as proc-gen probabilities, until the Player experiences them, at which point the Function collapses, everything blue-screens, I use non-deterministic words, and things on my desk approach relativistic velocities.#gamedev #godot #roguelike #gdscript #rpg #godotengine #rougelight

#godotengine devs, I got a question:
So I made myself some nice input prompts that show icons/text based on the input device and mapping.They live in a handy scene so I can make stuff like "Press [ESC] to open menu". But so I need "Label | InputPrompt | Label". Which is fine for simple prompts - but not very flexible.
What if I just wanna add these prompt to text dynamically aka "Press %input1 to do this and %input2 to do that"? I can never wrap my head around that. Any suggestions?

Fixed another issue: right-click was no longer bringing up the game menu. Turns out that `pause_mode` from Godot 3 becomes `process_mode` in Godot 4, and the value "2" means something completely different now 😅 It wasn't that the mouse button was not handled, it was that the menu scene was constantly paused 😛
The progress with the migration is slow, but steady 😎
