What is an Artist's Book?
"An artist’s book is an original work of art in book form or inspired by the idea of a book. Unlike an exhibition catalog, monograph, or art book which include reproductions of art works, artists’ books are works of art in and of themselves."

I'm trying my hands on drawtober again, with an OC prompt list by my friend Drawculena.
I never really had OCs, and my Warriors is light are my only ones I guess.
Day 1: favourite OC. This is Bruni, my main.

I'm drawing an anthromorphized horse next

The same frog dude, but this time in a more frog-like pose
I draw an anthromorphized frog. Suprisingly fun :") It feels so good to relax with my bread and butter: line art without caring about too much about my color.
Btw, I have a signature now, do you like it?
The masculine urge to add just one more value, should I fight it? Would it be helpful for my artistic growth to have more than 5 values in a study like this?

Oh my god, my deadline is coming so fking hard and I still HAVE TO DRAW, can't contain the urge.
This is a new char design inspired by early 20th century Vietnamese clothing, the crossbow itself is designed with inspiration from the montagard crossbow (The crossbow that I drew probably doesn't look realistic, but I tried).
I hope you like it, and I will have to come back to my work to finish what I have to do before all hell breaks loose in the next 5 hours.

My homage to the carbon cycle that I drew using colored pencils some years ago. I was going to gift it to a professor, but then could not bear to part with it.

A new collage (acrylics on paper). 🙂
For some reason I particularly love that little detail with the red and blue bits.

Hello good people of Mastodon, I have a humble request: I really need your input. So I finished (kinda) the line art for my latest work, but I feel an intense discomfort with the original composition, so I present to you 2 cropped versions that look better in my eyes. What version do you prefer? I really can't trust myself to judge objectively. I already put the name of each version in the alt text.
Thank you in advance :")
Mmh nicht so gelungen... weiß nicht, vielleicht seid ihr anderer Meinung. Werde jedenfalls die Tage noch eine Schildkröte malen #mastoarṭ

Repost very appreciated 👍🏼
Finished a while ago, I finally got this crazy thing scanned and uploaded to my prints shops last night. A bit on the dark side but I had fun making it.

Siempre hemos sido inmigrantes. Hasta en nuestro propio país. Regulares, irregulares y refugiados/as/es. De hecho, odiar a los/as/es inmigrantes es lo más parecido que hay a odiar a los/as/es españoles/as (lo que, por otro lado, cuadra perfectamente con el ideario y la catadura de la derecha extrema).
