Not a bad weekend for POTA! I made 25 contacts and a few new parks too! OHH! Also got my second LLOTA contact! I'm really hoping that catches on and does well. It'll be neat to have another locations based "contest".

Well, 10 meter SSB was pretty much bleh this weekend, so I just did some digital for giggles. Got a few fun places, but would have loved to have much more SSB.

Not too bad this weekend for a pretty poor 10 meter band. 15 contacts for "Support Your Parks Weekend". I'll take it! Also spent some time finishing up a few bits of my shack this weekend and put up a new grid square map. I'll put up some updated pics at some point!

Well this was an interesting weekend for 10 meters. It was supposed to be poor conditions, but instead it decided to hit some stuff I usually can't get. I even managed to get a digital exchange with Easter Island!

Today was really pretty good on 10 and 12 meters! Got 22 POTA contacts, all SSB, except one which was FM! That was really neat! It was such a clear communication, I was really amazed! And I got one contact up in Alaska all the way from Pennsylvania!

New Year SSB pile! I managed to get 27 SSB POTA contacts today! 10 meters and 12 meters was wide open! So many wonderful operators out today, thank you to them all!

This weekend was really good for #10m #SSB finally! The band is definitely waking up, and I'm so wanting to take advantage of it! Looking forward to more weekends like this one to get even more #POTA and such! Even managed to get one #SOTA contact too!

On a side note, I found out my radio manages to tune my 10m antenna to #12m at a usable level. Obviously it's not the most efficient like that, but hey, it does work! Managed to get one contact!

This was one crazy weekend for 10m amateur bands! I'm actually having a hard time coming up with things to say about it other than wow! Here's a map of all the contacts I made from Western PA. Yeah, just wow!

Had a very interesting day today running #FT8 on the #6m and #10m bands! #6meters was pretty quiet, but #10meters had some really interesting surprises in store for me! I actually somehow managed to get an exchange with an #Antarctica research station today (DP0GVN)! I honestly thought Antarctica was one of those that I wouldn't ever manage at 100W and a horizontal omni antenna. Gotta mention South Africa too, 'cause that's just a sort of weird hop for #10meter to reach.

Well, finally got my rig set up for digital modes this weekend and decided to have a run at it! #FT8 is definitely interesting how well it can hear signals. Ended up with some really distant hits this weekend on both #6m and #10m bands. Will see how well it holds my interest over time.
