@VE2UWY The criticisms were all in the lab notes section. Overall the review is positive.
Here's a sample copy if anyone's curious. https://drive.proton.me/urls/JA1MJMWQ8M#P82l4nZa1ysR
Here's the Groups.io response. Looks like Hans has joined the #ARRL as a result lol. https://groups.io/g/QRPLabs/topic/120086177#msg174353

I built a #QRPLabs QMX+ 160-6m 5W CW/SSB/Digimode transceiver from a kit over the holidays. Would I build it again? Probably not. It took about 15 hours to build, pretty much just because one has to wind 20 tiny coils and transformers. There's not much to learn since most of the functionality is implemented in the closed-source firmware. You can also buy it pre-built and pre-tested for not that much more. Mine only puts out 3W on 20m and now I have to find out why.

Six toroids done, 13 to go! I'm building a QMX+ transceiver from QRP Labs. Going well so far, and the soldering got better when I changed to a larger tip on the iron. This PCB seems to conduct heat away from the joint very quickly.

Successful lunch break PLOTA activation (Parking Lots on the Air) on 10 meter FT8! Tho I did have to take an extra half hour to reach ten QSOs 😉.
First outing with the QMX+ and a cable I made with an in-line buck converter to use a regular 13.8V battery.
Session included one QSO in Ontario, a new grid in Argentina, and two new states (CT, ME). From Raleigh with 4 watts and a whip!

People are too shy to message a stranger. I get it! So here is the unlisted video. I will probably set it public in a few days, if I get no major complaints. - There is a risk of frying your finals with the calibration, so you do it at your own risk!
