#SOTA summit № 760/1000 today: Le Besso 3669 m (https://sotl.as/summits/HB/VS-266). After yesterday's 2000 m ascent to Les Diablons, this was another 2000 m day trip. The difference being that yesterday's route was easy and straightforward along a ridge, whereas today the top 400 m were spent in the south face, negotiating steep couloirs and narrow ledges to find the ideal (solo-friendly) route. It was a long day! 😇

#SOTA summit № 757/1000: Pointe d'Otemma 3403 m (https://sotl.as/summits/HB/VS-127). Another first activation adventure, this time solo. Traverse with ascent via the west ridge and descent via the rarely climbed south ridge. The latter had an unexpected tricky spot where some rocks had broken off. At these altitudes and in this day and age, you can't count on a 15-year-old route description still being accurate...
