  7. Thanks to @rahguzar for suggesting using lossage. I tried it and it doesn't show the letter I'm holding down. It shows the previous key presses, but not the one being held down.
    Between the escape and the C-h l, I'm holding down j, so something is afoot...

    Since kiwix has no branding and the left column with the links with which shr struggles is also absent, the article is much cleaner and loads must faster. Really good for quickly looking at and articles.

  12. Any recommendations for a good open ? I have an oldish Kindle Paperwhite (from 2018) and it's software updates are a shining example of and . The interface is getting worse and I have less control over it then I did when I bought it. It is also annoyingly sluggish now (I assume newer models are fare better).

  14. It feels almost done, except if the point is very close to the end of a footnote. In that case the footnote gets included in the context and so we end up synchronizing with the footnote. I know how to get around this but the easiest way is to use to find the bounds of macros and for the most part pdf-tools doesn't depend on auctex although they cooperate at some points.
