The technology has me stumped, again. Self hosted Nextcloud server, up-dated and running. I can access as normal from my phone and Firefox mobile reports 'verified by letsencrypt'. I can SSH into the server from my desktop and access the AIO dashboard on the server via Firefox. BUT I can't use the web interface dashboard or the desktop sync app. Both report SSL error. Wer mal etwas mit Werbung oder Verkaufen im Internet zu tun gehabt hat, wird den Begriff SEO kennen, also Search Engine Optimization.
Damit wird versucht, Webseiten so zu anzupassen, dass sie in den Suchergebnissen der Suchmaschinen ganz oben angezeigt werden. Das bedeutet mehr Klicks, denn fast alle Nutzer schauen sich nur die ersten ein zwei Treffer an.
Da jetzt mehr und mehr Menschen nur noch "KI" befragen und nicht mehr im Netz suchen, möchte man nun mit "AI Optimization" (AIO) Einfluss auf die Antworten nehmen.
Dabei kommen aktuell so Stilblüten heraus, dass versucht wird, den KIs direkte Anweisungen mitzugeben, dass in einer Antwort nur das eigene Produkt als das Beste empfohlen werden soll.
Wie hilfreich sind dann solche Antworten?

After two days of trying to get #nextcloud_aio up and running I officially give up and consider using usual old and stable manual installation method with php, db and webserver.
I thought that #Nextcloud did something awesome and cool but sorry, I get some kind of Microsoft feeling trying to use it.
1. AIO is designed primarily to be single service on the server. For home servers this sucks.
2. AIO master interface is designed to be used only in local network and it is pain opening it to the internet. Nextcloud team just decided that this must work like that.
3. Logs are not informative at all.
4. Containers just randomly stop and try to start endlessly without any single error in logs.
5. AIO interface looks minimalistic but hangs my screenreader and browser rendering it unusable for a minute after every click.Probably at some point it becomes better but for now I'd not recommend it to anyone.

I get these two errors in the #nextcloud #aio #webinterface. The #talk app is working just fine.
I just found the error cause: Go to https://your-instance/settings/admin/talk and remove the "High-performance backend" entry, probably "https://your-instance/standalone-server".

I'm thinking of switching away from my Nextcloud AIO install I always have issues with certain elements the most recent being Nextcloud talk video cells not connecting.
I know Immich is good for photos , Radicale is good for calendar and contacts. But can anyone recommend a self hosted talk replacement ? Maybe SimpleX chat ? Also has anyone tried Opencloud ? Or maybe something else to replace files ?
