Installed a matte glas screen protector on my iPhone and I really like the look & feel of it. Unfortunately it's not the perfect fitment for my phone and because of that dust gets stuck on the corners which is really annoying.
Maybe I can find a better fitted one... -

Successfully transplanted my PC from the Louqe Ghost S1 to my new NCASE T1. Time will tell if it’s the better case for temps/performance/noise.
Starting the assembly on the NCASE was quite difficult for me because the instructions are really vague - had to watch a dozen YT videos to figure it out. Otherwise beautiful case as I expected. #PCTransplant #NCASE #formdt1 #LouqeGhostS1 #PCBuilding #sffpc -

Anyone else using DuckDuckGo as their default search engine (on iPhone)? It’s unusable for me because of insanely slow initial loading times. Every other website/search engine works fine. Switched to Qwant and have no issue. Really liked the ddg search results and bangs feature tho… #DuckDuckGo #Qwant #SearchEngine #iPhone #LoadingTimes #FediHelp

Finally ordered the #NCaseT1, a case I’ve admired for years. It’s time to rebuild my main PC and let the Ghost S1 take a well-deserved rest.

A few more things that I find annoying/weird on my #NothingPhone1 :
- Youtube app defaults to 720p (even when "better quality" is enabled) -> iPhone always highest option
- Speakers are bad compared to my iPhone -> makes watching YouTube not so pleasing
- Didn't think I would miss FaceID so much -> Cannot read notifications on my lock screen, unlocking always brings me to the home screen
- No widget stacks :( Love stacking widgets to keep my iOS home screen clean, no option on android -
A few thoughts about my new #NothingPhone1 as a #iPhone user:
Bad things:
- Got a weird android error when first booting the device "No Command" screen -> Would already be a dealbreaker for less tech savvy people
- The whole installation/setup process is way longer and more complicated than on iPhones (sadly)
- I forgot how seamless and useful FaceID on the iPhone is, fingerprint feels like old tech
- Had to go through every OS update one by one, iPhones can just go to the latest straight

After trying to use #jellyfin for audiobooks I quickly switched to #audiobookshelf . Jellyfin for some reason won't display chapters and covers (despite the add-on). Audiobookshelf just works.
Also my audiobooks app #plappa works with both, so no new app as well! Awesome! -
I don’t know why but I just love sff pc cases….
Used a NCASE M1 for years (imported it for a lot of money) and just last year switched to the LOUQE Ghost S1 when their big sale happend.
Now I‘m thinking about getting the A4-H20 or even better the formd T1. -

Got myself an #android tablet to see how it compares to my (mostly) apple devices and I have to say I really like it. There are so much cool opensource apps for all kinds of stuff and it seems like I have so much more control even without root (which my device does support).
Love playing around with it. Maybe my next phone won't be an iPhone... -

Well, I just build an automation in #HomeAssistant doing exactly this.
100% local, using the lan-mode of the printer. I love it. -
Wanted to upgrade our doorbell and first thought about getting the Aqara G4 but the fact its wifi only and there's no rtsp/onvif support made me go with the reolink doorbell poe.
It's POE powered and can be integrated into everything because it supports a lot of standards including rtsp.
One small downside: It does not have native Apple HomeKit secure video support, but I can add this using scrypted.
30meter lan cable ordered. -

After coming home today I noticed that my intel nuc proxmox host was down (homeassistant and stuff didn’t work) and I thought it would be a known problem with the intel e1000e network adapter - because I had this problem once before - but after hours of debugging it I came to the conclusion that the ethernet ports of my router just stopped working. A quick reboot fixed it…
