Help/advice needed.
When on Linux (Mint) wanting to flash /e/OS/ firmware to my Samsung A52s, what should I do?
1. Use Heimdall? It has a GUI - but I'm short of a usefull Heimdall Firmware Package with no experience in making such.
2. Use Odin? The official program from Samsung but without any GUI. Will I be able to handle it from a Command promt?
3. Use JOdin? A GUI for Odin. I should be able to install it on Linux - but as I read it it is no longer officially supported.
As is I tend to choose no. 2.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance. -

BTW, anyone knows these 3 things?
1. How to take a whole backup of Immich (non docker) and get it installed in a different server/pc (non docker)?
2. I have 2 forgejo instances in 2 separate servers.
- either how can I merge them, retaining everything?
- or how can I retain the second instance under one server. Separately in one server?3. Also Prosody. How can I migrate it to a different server?
For all of these, mind that they will need to be migrated to already running server. Not the same kind of server.

Help! I’ve prewired an old European apartment with CAT6a, around 50 drops to a sigle area. They run above suspended ceiling and behind plasterboard on brick.
Before I close off walls and ceilings I need to test them all. I’ve started doing the testing with a wire pair continuty tester. This works but it’s slow.
So, is there a technique or tool that might be quicker?
Or am I better just terminating them all with keystones and testing with regular kit?

After six years only using #Contabo, I am looking for other #VPS #hosting options. I do not feel they are particularly reliable any more (maybe they have never been), and I would prefer to go for a provider with a good track record.
I have looked at websites comparing other hosting options, but of course everything is super chaotic and flashy and aaaargh
I trust folks here for advice on affordable, reliable, trustworthy European providers. I would like to add cooperative and sustainable too, but they all seem to be way more expensive and I am afraid I cannot afford them right now.
Because I am a student, I have emailed some more “progressive” hosting providers asking for discounts, but I feel a bit bad doing that.

Aim is to message YouTube users somehow without making an account directly myself and make contact somehow... via others.
Can anyone think of ideas or 'bridge'so I can simply message #Google / #YouTube creators something (and avoid making a crap #google account and crap with it - but just send them a message in some indirect way)...
A bit like #Invidious let's you watch videos without ever using needing to go directly to youtube.com
Any ideas welcome, thanks!

Help Net Security interviewed Art Manion, Tharros, FIRST Liaison Member, FIRST VRDX-SIG Chair, CVE Board Member, CVE SPWG Chair, on why vulnerability databases keep failing us, and what the community needs to do about it.
Highlights:
- Stop treating this as a data problem, it's first an architecture problem
- There is no minimum set of assertions that can confirm two systems describe the same vulnerability
- CVSS scores are pulling attention away from the harder work of real risk assessment
- 50%+ of vendor names in NVD's CPE data have naming inconsistencies, if you can't identify the product, nothing else matters
- Before writing new specs or building new tools, the community needs shared terms and principlesThis research is part of ongoing collaborative work with Jay Jacobs, Co-Founder & Data Scientist, Empirical Security, FIRST EPSS-SIG Co-Chair, CVE Consumer WG Chair.
Catch Art and Jay live at #VulnCon26: 'A Paradigm Shift in Vulnerability Identity: Why Vulnerability Databases Struggle' — April 14, 1:30–2:30 PM MST.

Connecté via liveusb, j'ai lancé un fsck, J'ai un message d'erreur : attempt to read block from filesystem in short read while trying to open /dev/sda2 Could this be a zero-lenght partition ?
Des idées ?
