The rejection of #evolutionarytheory has moral implications in relation to our response to #climatechange. When persons refuse to understand how #evolution works, they fail to comprehend the profound impact of warmer average temperatures on #ecosystems that have evolved over time to flourish in a relatively stable #climate. With climate changing as rapidly as it is now, it will be extremely difficult for many forms of life to make the evolutionary adjustments to survive, much less thrive.

#SenatorSinema would have very likely faced a Democratic primary challenger in 2024. As an Independent, she is likely hoping Democrats will strategically not nominate a candidate so that a Republican will not be elected in 2024. This is an example of why Arizona needs #RankedChoiceVoting. With ranked choice voting, the people of Arizona could have a diversity of persons on the ballot and be able to vote their first choice every time without worrying about spoiler candidates or wasted votes.
