As an Independent, she is likely hoping Democrats will strategically not nominate a candidate so that a Republican will not be elected in 2024. This is an example of why Arizona needs #RankedChoiceVoting. With ranked choice voting, the people of Arizona could have a diversity of persons on the ballot and be able to vote their first choice every time without worrying about spoiler candidates or wasted votes.
