This is just quintessential allistic exceptionalism. The question ehould always be whether X doesn't Y rather than if X does Y. Really, wondering if insects or lobsters feel pain is unintelligent exceptionalism. They have the nerves and receptors for it, so high probability for pain experience.

The mild treatment of Israel's ceasefire violations typifies the facilitation that dominant economic classes (owners of commercial media) continue to give to perpetrators of genocide. This is the way it is. This is the way it has been. It is still going. There bloody murders being industrially manufactured by cartels of oligarchs. The boundary between credible and incredible, between saying something and not saying anything, it gets pushed to the limits all of the time.
