Sitting on the patio at Harvest Clean Eats having a late breakfast while we wait for Badger to have her ultrasound at the specialty vets in the city.
She can't keep any food down and her bloodwork is perfect, so this is the next step to find out what's wrong with her. I hope so much that it's nothing serious. While she was waiting for this appointment she's been on anti-nausea meds, which worked. But that's not a long term solution.They have good healthy vegan options, which is always appreciated.

There's a rise in crime in our little village. Businesses are having gas tanks stolen, tools, tills (empty, that one) and presumably the usual thievable items. Long gone are the days when we could leave our houses and workshops unlocked and go out.
Some things they can't steal. And those are the most beautiful things.

I'm so glad I brought in my tomatoes and peppers and basil plants. From a temperature of 32ºC down to 7º and today with a high of 8º, there's only so much a tender plant can take. My broccoli, peas, garlic & seeds in the ground will be fine. But I felt sorry for these tiny cucumber plants and gave them a cover.
At least it's raining at last! Hooray! I hope this helps the fires somehow. Really pennies from heaven this time.

What's going on with #Purolator (at least in Québec)?
These are 2 separate packages, both sent from within Québec , Canada. Neither has a future estimated delivery date, but one has a delivery date estimated due 2 days ago.
